Martin Harley - Getting his Mojo Fix

Martin Harley is a guitarist, singer and songwriter with The Martin Harley Band. When he supported Beth Hart at the Roundhouse in November 2013 I was lucky enough to be there to see this unique UK slide guitar player's set and capture one of his great tracks on film. His new album Mojo Fix had just been released, and I really liked his individual sound.

Over the years Martin has played many music festivals and supported lots of other artists, whilst building up his fan base in the UK and overseas. A life long devotee of acoustic guitar music, especially the ageless blues/roots sounds, Martin has travelled the world and been influenced by many different sounds and artists.

Renowned for his prowess as a slide guitarist, he is almost unique in the UK as plays lap slide. He's also an accomplished somgwriter with several albums in his back catalougue.

He also has a knack of making really quirky vintage americana themed promo videos for his songs!
